Ripples

Seeing the waitress at a restaurant near my home is easily the highlight of my week. She is a soul who exudes gentleness, kindness, silence and truth, graceful feminine energies, friendliness and love. She has this warm, open smile for me whenever I come in, and another whenever I ask for more coffee, and another whenever I leave. I'll probably never know her name and she'll probably never know mine. One day, I'll leave Seattle and just stop showing up, or one day she'll get another job and stop being there. But for now, such a blessing she is on my life, for an hour or so each week. I leave brighter and a better person for the encounter.

So, thank you, whoever you are, whatever your story is. You sit with me in this time without knowing that you do. May you be blessed a hundredfold.
